Thank you for your interest in The Mile High City! We are a post covid slice of
life community based in the beautiful city of Denver, Colorado. As moderators
and fellow roleplayers, we are hoping to provide an escape from the stresses of
every day life and want to keep things lighthearted and fun. With that being
said, we all know the basic rules of etiquette, so let's be courteous and keep
all OOC drama away from here. |
HOLDS & APPLICATIONS |
All holds
last for a maximum of 3 days with a 24 hour extension granted upon request.
Holds will expire at midnight on the third day (EST). If you would like to
place a hold, go
here. We are currently not requiring examples and will base acceptance on your facts/biography. For your facts we require at least 5-10 detailed, biographical facts. The more information you can give us, the better. If you choose to give us a full bio rather than facts, a minimum of four detailed paragraphs is required. Once you have been accepted you have 48 hours to post an introduction in the members community. If you fail to post an introduction in the time frame and haven't contacted us with a reason, you will be considered DOA and your character will be removed during the next adds. You must reply to most if not all comments left behind on your post in order for it to count towards activity for the month. If your application was deleted, you weren't accepted into the community. If we believe it's something easily fixable, we will contact you before adds to give you the opportunity to fix it before then. You may either PM us or leave a message in the dropbox if you've been rejected. |
ACTIVITY & REMOVALS |
Removals will be done the last day of the month. In order to avoid being removed
from the community you must link us to your activity for the month in the
dropbox. You must
also keep your friends list updated. We will check for this twice a month and
will only give out one warning before removing for failure to update. We want to
keep this place welcoming to everyone and can't do that if the newest members
cannot see your posts. While we want to keep things fun and casual, we require two activities for the month (one interactive and one substantial update). You may post as often as you'd like, but one liners, lyric posts and the such will not count toward activity. |
MISCELLANEOUS |
If you need to take some time away from the game, you may request a hiatus for
your character. We understand that real life happens and we want to work with you. Hiatuses will be granted for a total of four weeks with an extra
week extension if needed. If you need more time due to special circumstances, please drop us a message and we will work with you. If you need some more time to meet the activity requirements you may request an extension. You are only able to do so every two months. If you continuously ask for extensions your character may be up for removal if no constant activity is shown throughout your time in the community. PB changes will be allowed, but please do not take advantage of this. At the moment we will only allow for two face changes, but this can change in the future. If you are requesting a change, wait until you've been given the go ahead before you change any icons in order to avoid confusion. We have decided to provide you with our own storyline community to aid in the process of getting lines. Feel free to use it or comment the wanted post with any lines you want to see filled. Don't forget to post in pbads as well and help us grow. The most important rule of all, make sure to have fun and help your character
and our community grow! |
